Alerts, rules, and analysis
Alerts are shared records of conditions that need attention. Acknowledge an alert to show it has been seen, then resolve it when the condition has been handled. Events provide the surrounding time-ordered activity, including command outcomes.
Proposals
Section titled “Proposals”Automation can propose an action for a person to accept or decline. Pending proposals appear in Alerts and the statusbar. Read the proposed aircraft, mission, and reason before deciding. A declined auto-operator proposal cools the mission down temporarily; an expired proposal can be proposed again if the gap remains.
Core rule autonomy and auto-operator mode are separate settings. Core defaults to suggestions. Staging explicitly enables automatic mission dispatch only for the serial-filtered virtual fleet.
Watch rules
Section titled “Watch rules”Rules evaluate connected state and detections. Open Rules to inspect enabled conditions, actions, cooldowns, and fire counts. Use the live preview to see what would match before enabling a change.
Possible actions include alerts, captures, and tasking proposals or commands according to configuration. Rules are shared documents. An enabled rule can continue operating when your panel is closed because Core owns its evaluation.
Analysis
Section titled “Analysis”The optional detections module analyzes authorized camera feeds with the configured vision models. Analysis sessions have concurrency, duration, and interval limits. The module needs an API key and may incur model charges. Opening the panel does not establish that a model is available or that an inference has succeeded.
Captures
Section titled “Captures”A capture is one still frame from an aircraft’s video at a known moment, kept apart from the recording. Pilots, the analyst module, and watch rules all create the same kind of record, and everyone annotates it in the same place.
Take one with the camera button on a Video panel, the P key with an aircraft selected, D-pad up on a DualSense, a bound RC controller button, ⌘K → Capture frame, an aircraft’s menu, or the Actions panel for the whole selection. When a Video panel shows the aircraft, the exact frame on screen is uploaded; otherwise Mainframe takes one from the live feed, or from the recording when the workspace is replaying the past. The feed flashes and a toast offers to open the capture. Every capture is also an event, so it appears in Events, as a marker on the timeline bar, and as a camera glyph on the Map at the aircraft’s position. Click the glyph to select the capture (the Selection panel shows its frame, status and notes); double-click it to open the Captures panel on it.
The Captures panel lists captures newest first, filtered to Open, All, Mine, or AI. Each shows the frame with its annotations. Press B or the box tool and drag to draw a box, type a label and press Enter. Press Enter to write a note; select a box first to attach the note to it. Notes on captures and on clips take mentions (@), reactions, edits and copy exactly like notes on markings (see Markings). Boxes and notes show who made them: analyst boxes carry a confidence, rule captures carry the matched class, and people can edit and delete only their own annotations. Analyze asks the detections module to describe the frame and box what it sees, appending to whatever is already there.
Triage works from the keyboard: j/k move, y confirms, n rejects, c corrects the label (1–5). Decisions are shared with every Terminal. Rejecting an analyst capture also dims its live box on the feed and the map. Download saves the original JPEG; the second download button saves a PNG with the boxes and labels burned in. The time in the metadata bar jumps the whole workspace to that moment.
Capture stills live in the blob bucket under blobs/captures/, apart from recorded video, and are not subject to media retention. Capture records are documents in Postgres.
Use Charts, Fleet Timeline, and Activity to compare a suspected event with battery, flight state, link quality, and prior sorties. Recorded measurements and operator review remain the evidence when an automated interpretation is wrong.
